Meridian Blank / Pissed-Off Kid / Hylas | Three bands sharing a heavy mindset.

 Οι Post /Progressive Rockers Meridian Blank από τα Χανιά έρχονται την Κυριακή 30 Μαρτίου για να μας ταξιδέψουν σε ατμοσφαιρικά ηχοτόπια, με συνένοχους τους Pissed-Off Kid, το Weird Rock Trio που ενσαρκώνει το πνεύμα του σκοτεινού, & τους progressive post-rockers Hylas που αντλούν έμπνευση από τις αντιθέσεις της αστικής μελαγχολίας, εξερευνώντας νέες κατευθύνσεις και ενσωματώνοντας ηλεκτρονικές υφές και επιρροές από την ανατολική μουσική,δημιουργώντας ένα ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα που ξεπερνά τα συμβατικά όρια του post-rock.!!

Οι Meridian Blank είναι ένα Post / Progressive Rock συγκρότημα, που ειδικεύεται στο να δημιουργεί ατμοσφαιρικά ηχοτοπία. Σχηματίστηκε στα Χανιά της Κρήτης το 2017 και εδρεύει πλέον στην Αθήνα. Τον Ιούνιο του 2020, οι Meridian Blank κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο άλμπουμ τους με τίτλο "Scenes & Fragments" σε CD, το οποίο έλαβε εξαιρετικά θετικές κριτικές και συγκέντρωσε γρήγορα αρκετές χιλιάδες προβολές και streams.

Μέχρι σήμερα, έχουν μοιραστεί τη σκηνή με πολλούς καταξιωμένους Έλληνες καλλιτέχνες, τόσο από τον σκληρότερο χώρο του rock, όπως οι Planet of Zeus, Puta Volcano και Deaf Radio, όσο και από το ευρύτερο rock φάσμα, όπως ο Γιάννης Αγγελάκας. Έχουν επίσης μοιραστεί τη σκηνή με το αμερικανικό συγκρότημα City of the Sun. Τον Ιούλιο του 2019 κατάφεραν να μπουν στο lineup του γνωστού ετήσιου μουσικού φεστιβάλ "Schoolwave", που πραγματοποιείται στην Αθήνα και έχει δει πολλούς από τους συμμετέχοντες να ευδοκιμούν στην τέχνη τους.

Μέχρι στιγμής, οι Meridian Blank έχουν δώσει συναυλίες σε τέσσερις ελληνικές πόλεις και αυτή την περίοδο επικεντρώνονται τόσο στην παραγωγή του δεύτερου άλμπουμ τους, όσο και στην παρουσίαση της καλλιτεχνικής τους δημιουργίας σε όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερα μέρη του κόσμου.

Meridian Blank is a Post / Progressive Rock band, indulging in atmospheric soundscapes, formed in Chania, Crete on 2017 and currently based in Athens. On June 2020 Meridian Blank released their debut album called "Scenes & Fragments" on CD, which got many heavily positive reviews and quickly accumulated several thousands of views and streams.

Up to this day, they have shared the stage with many critically acclaimed Greek artists, some on the heavier side of rock, such as Planet of Zeus, Puta Volcano and Deaf Radio and some on the broader rock spectrum, such as Giannis Aggelakas & 100°C and Spiros Grammenos.

They have also shared the stage with one international band from America that goes by the name City of the Sun.

On July 2019 they have successfully made it into the roster of the well-known annual "Schoolwave" music festival, that takes place in Athens and has seen many of its participants thrive in their artform. Meridian Blank has by now gigged in 4 cities of Greece and is currently heavily focused equally on the production of a sophomore album, as well as showcasing their artistic endeavors to as many places in the world as possible

HYΛΔS are a four-member progressive post-rock band from Athens, formed in 2015. Their sound is characterized by atmospheric melodies and intense emotional shifts.

Their debut album, Athena, was released in September 2019 and draws inspiration from the city of Athens itself—a place full of contrasts, where urban melancholy meets the natural element of bitter orange trees sprouting between gray buildings.

In their most recent compositions, they explore new directions, incorporating electronic textures and influences from Eastern music, creating a sonic result that transcends the conventional boundaries of post-rock.
